IN THE MAKING
The round soap dishes are thrown on the wheel, when leather hard they are turned and I pierce the holes in them and attach the feet. Then they are left to dry before being bisque fired, glazed and fired again. Finally they are checked over to make sure they are ready for the shop.
The crochet ones go through a similar process but instead of being thrown on the wheel I roll out slabs of clay, roll the crochet cloth in to the clay to create the print and cut them to size.
Bisque fired & ready to be glazed.
